Join us for dinner at the University of Colorado Anschutz campus on Friday, November 15 at the Research Complex Building 2. We will be having some excellent presentations from experts in the field including: former ASTRO president, Dr. Kavanagh; Chair of the AAPM, Dr. Bruce Thomadsen; and Colorado assistant professor Wei Zhou. Additionally, former AAPM president Jerry White will be giving a presentation on behalf of the AAPM Ethics Committee.

For those who will be in Denver prior to the meeting at 5:30, Ursula Brewery is within walking distance of the campus where members can meet before the meeting space is available. A post meeting gathering will also be hosted at Punchbowl Social-Stapleton for those who are interested in joining.

2019 Rocky Mountain MedPhys Slam

In our second MedPhys Slam, student, resident and junior members of the chapter attempted to summarize their own research in 3 minutes or less to a member outside our MedPhys community. Each was judged for the quality and clarity of their presentations as well as their ability to condense their complex material to a brief, simple explanation. We appreciate our participants taking the time from their studies for a chance to represent us at the National AAPM competition.
